Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the central area of Flachgau and head towards Salzburg. Enter the A1 motorway and follow the signs for Salzburg. Take the exit 3 towards Salzburg, then follow the signs for Mönchsberg. Once you reach Mönchsberg 17E, you will find parking available nearby. Be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around €2 per hour.
Public Transportation - Bus
For those using public transportation, take a bus from any location in Flachgau to Salzburg. Buses such as the 150 or 160 operate frequently. Once you arrive at the Salzburg Bus Station, you can walk to Mönchsberg. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Follow the signs towards Mönchsberg and enjoy the scenic route as you approach Richterhöhe.
Public Transportation - Train
If you prefer to travel by train, take a train from Flachgau to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Upon arrival, exit the station and follow the signs for Mönchsberg. It's about a 20-minute walk to Richterhöhe from the train station. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from the train station to reach Mönchsberg faster.

Once you are in the vicinity of Mönchsberg 17E, you can simply walk to Richterhöhe. The observation deck is accessible by foot and provides beautiful views of the surrounding area. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the paths can be steep in some sections.
