Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from your location in Gailtal and head toward Villach. Use the A2 motorway, following signs for Villach. Once you reach Villach, take the exit for the B83 towards Drau. Drive approximately 5 km, then take a left onto the L49, which leads you directly to Eggerloch. Look for signs for Naturpark Dobratsch as you approach the area. There is no parking fee at Eggerloch, but check for any temporary restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from your nearest bus stop in Gailtal to Villach. Look for the bus line that heads towards Villach, such as line 522. The journey typically takes around 30-45 minutes. Once in Villach, transfer to bus line 521 towards Dobratsch or Naturpark Dobratsch. Disembark at the Eggerloch stop, which is the closest stop to the attraction. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to the Eggerloch area or have reached Villach, you can choose to walk to Eggerloch. From the bus stop in Villach, head southwest along the L49. Follow the signs to Naturpark Dobratsch, which will guide you to the scenic spot. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
