Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Bad Hofgastein. Head north on the B167 road (Gasteiner Bundesstraße) towards the direction of Bad Gastein. Continue on B167 for approximately 2.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Weinetsberg, and turn onto Weinetsbergstraße. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the address Weinetsberg 26. There is parking available near the hiking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Hirschkarspitze using public transportation, start at the Bad Hofgastein bus station. Take bus line 540 towards Bad Gastein. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Weinetsberg' stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 500 meters) to Hirschkarspitze, following the path that leads directly to the hiking area. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
Walking
If you're already in Bad Hofgastein and prefer walking, you can take a scenic route. From the town center, head north towards B167 and then follow the road signs to Weinetsberg. The walking distance is about 3 kilometers, which should take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on your pace. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way!
