If you're traveling by car, start by heading to the center of Bad Gastein. From the main road (B167), turn onto Wasserfallstraße. Follow this street for approximately 1 kilometer. You'll find Gasteiner Wasserfall located at Wasserfallstraße 8, 5640 Bad Gastein. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to walk a short distance if the parking is full.
Public Transportation
To visit Gasteiner Wasserfall using public transportation, take the bus to Bad Gastein from nearby towns. The bus stop is located at the main train station in Bad Gastein. Once you arrive at the Bad Gastein stop, exit the bus and walk towards the center of the town. Head east on the main road, then turn onto Wasserfallstraße. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus station to Gasteiner Wasserfall, located at Wasserfallstraße 8.
Walking
If you are already in Bad Gastein, walking to Gasteiner Wasserfall is quite pleasant. You can take a stroll through the picturesque streets of the town. Start from the town center, head towards the east, and follow signs directing you to Wasserfallstraße. The waterfall is approximately a 15-minute walk from the town center, and you will be rewarded with beautiful views along the way.
