Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the city center (Hauptplatz), head southeast towards Sporgasse. Continue on Sporgasse until you reach the intersection with Sackstraße. Turn right onto Sackstraße and walk straight until you reach the next major intersection. Here, turn left onto Herrengasse. Continue walking until you reach the end of Herrengasse, where you will find the entrance to the Schlossberg funicular railway. Take the funicular up the hill. Once you arrive at the top, exit and follow the signs that lead to Dom im Berg, which is located on Schlossbergsteig. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km from Hauptplatz to the funicular entrance.

Public Transport
From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof Graz), take tram line 1 towards 'Graz, Lendplatz'. Get off at the 'Jakominiplatz' stop. From there, transfer to tram line 3 towards 'Graz, St. Leonhard'. Get off at the 'Schlossbergplatz' stop. From the tram stop, walk towards the Schlossberg funicular entrance. Take the funicular up to the top, and once you exit, follow the signs to Dom im Berg. The total travel time is approximately 30 minutes, including walking and waiting times.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations around the city. Start from the central area, head towards the Mur river, and follow the bike path along the river. Continue until you reach the Schlossberg area. Park your bike at a designated bike rack near the Schlossberg and take the funicular up to the top. Once you're at the top, follow the signs to Dom im Berg. The biking distance is around 2 km, and it should take about 10-15 minutes.
