Walking
If you are starting from the main square (Hauptplatz) in Graz, head southwest towards Herrengasse street. Walk along Herrengasse until you reach the intersection with Karmeliterplatz, which is a small square just off Herrengasse. You will see Karmeliterplatz on your left. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk there.
Public Transport
You can take tram line 1 or 7 from the Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Board the tram at the station and travel towards the 'Graz, Jakominiplatz' stop. Once you arrive at Jakominiplatz, transfer to tram line 3 and head towards 'Graz, St. Peter'. Get off at the 'Karmeliterplatz' stop. The square is just a short walk from the tram stop.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle through the city. Start from the Mur river and take the cycle path heading towards the city center. Follow the signs to Karmeliterplatz. The cycling distance is approximately 3 kilometers and should take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
