From the Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head east on Kaiser-Josef-Platz. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Annenstraße. Turn left onto Annenstraße and continue walking straight. When you reach the junction with the Ringstraße, turn right. Continue walking until you see the Mariensäule at Am Eisernen Tor, which will be on your left. The total walking time is approximately 25 minutes.

From the Graz Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 or 7 from the station in the direction of 'Graz, Jakominiplatz'. Get off at the 'Jakominiplatz' stop, which is a major public transport hub. From Jakominiplatz, transfer to tram line 3 towards 'Graz, St. Peter' and get off at the next stop, 'Am Eisernen Tor'. The Mariensäule is just a short walk from the tram stop, located at Am Eisernen Tor 873/3. The total travel time is around 15-20 minutes.

If you are starting from the city center, such as the Hauptplatz (Main Square), walk towards the south along the Sporgasse street. Continue to the end of Sporgasse, which leads directly to the Herrengasse. Take a right onto Herrengasse and walk until you reach the intersection with Sackstraße. Turn left onto Sackstraße, then take another left onto Am Eisernen Tor. You will find the Mariensäule on your right. This walk will take approximately 15 minutes.
