To reach the Schlossbergbahn, start by locating the nearest tram stop in Graz. If you are at the main square (Hauptplatz), find the tram stop 'Hauptplatz'. Take tram line 1 or 7 towards 'Graz, Jakominiplatz'. After approximately 5 minutes, get off at the 'Jakominiplatz' stop. From Jakominiplatz, walk towards the direction of Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai, which is a straight path and will take you around 5-10 minutes. You will see signs leading you to the Schlossbergbahn as you approach Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai 38. The entrance to the Schlossbergbahn will be on your left.

If you are in the city center, you can walk to Schlossbergbahn. Start at the main square (Hauptplatz) and head south towards the River Mur. Cross the bridge and continue straight along the banks of the river. After about 15 minutes, you will reach Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai. Turn left and walk along this road for about 5 minutes until you see the entrance to the Schlossbergbahn on your right at Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai 38.
