Continue along the scenic route until you reach the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe lookout point, which offers stunning views of the glacier. From here, follow the signs for Gletscherzunge. There is a parking area near the hiking trail that leads to Gletscherzunge.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from nearby towns such as Heiligenblut or Zell am See to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary by season. The bus will drop you off at the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe. From this point, you can hike to Gletscherzunge.
