Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Kaprun. Head southwest on B165 towards the Unnamed Road. Continue on B165 for about 2 kilometers. Turn left onto Unnamed Road, where you will find Gaisstein. There is usually free parking available along the road, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Gaisstein using public transportation, take the local bus from Kaprun to the 'Gletscherbahn' stop. The bus service is operated by the Zeller Verkehrsbetriebe and runs frequently. After getting off at Gletscherbahn, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along Unnamed Road toward the south. Keep an eye out for directional signs leading to Gaisstein.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Kaprun, you can walk to Gaisstein. From the center of Kaprun, head south on B165. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Unnamed Road. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers, and you will reach Gaisstein. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
