Car
If you are traveling by car from the center of Hohe Tauern, head southeast on the B100 (Felbertauernstraße) for approximately 15 kilometers. Follow the signs for Kals am Großglockner. Once you reach Kals, continue straight until you see the sign for Kalser Glocknerstraße. Turn onto Ködnitz 6, where you will find the entrance to Kalser Glocknerstraße. Please note that there may be a toll fee of around €10 for the use of this scenic road.
Public Transportation
To reach Kalser Glocknerstraße via public transport, start by taking a bus from your location in Hohe Tauern to the nearest major town, Matrei in Osttirol. From Matrei, catch the bus number 910 towards Kals am Großglockner. The bus will take you directly to Kals. Once you arrive in Kals, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the entrance of Kalser Glocknerstraße at Ködnitz 6. Check the local bus schedule for the most accurate timings, as services may vary seasonally.
