Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, such as Matrei in Osttirol. Take the B108 road heading towards Kals am Großglockner. After about 15 km, turn onto the L19 road towards Schwarzsee. Follow the signs for 'Schwarzsee - Mythos Bergsee.' There is a parking area available near the Schwarzsee, which may incur a small fee (approximately €5 for the day). From the parking area, Stotzbachfall is a short hike. Follow the marked trail that leads downhill to the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Stotzbachfall via public transport, take a train to Matrei in Osttirol. From Matrei, you can catch the bus (Bus line 900) heading towards Kals am Großglockner. Get off at the stop 'Schwarzsee,' which is the closest to the waterfall. The bus fare is typically around €3-€5. From the bus stop, follow the signs for 'Schwarzsee - Mythos Bergsee' and take the short hiking trail leading to Stotzbachfall.
