From Matrei, take the B108 road towards Kals am Großglockner. Continue on this road for about 14 km until you reach the junction for Umbaltal. Turn left onto the Umbaltal road (signposted), which leads into the Umbaltal Valley. Drive along this road for approximately 7 km; you will reach a parking area near the Umbaltal Waterfall.
