Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town in Hohe Tauern, such as Mittersill. From Mittersill, take the B168 towards Kaprun. Follow this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with the L7 road. Turn left onto L7, which is signposted towards 'Zell am See'. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach the parking area for Wasserfallwinkelkeessee located at the end of the road. There might be a parking fee of around €5, so keep some coins handy.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, take a train or bus to Mittersill. From Mittersill, you can catch a local bus (Bus Line 660) towards Kaprun. The bus will drop you off at a stop near the L7 road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to reach Wasserfallwinkelkeessee. Please check the local bus schedule as it may vary, and ensure you have a valid ticket, which costs around €3 for a single journey.

Hiking

Once you arrive at the parking area, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 kilometers along a well-marked trail to reach Wasserfallwinkelkeessee.
