Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Innsbruck's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main road (Maria-Theresien-Straße). Turn right and walk along the road for about 15 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the Triumphpforte, which will be on your left, just before the Hofgarten park.

    From the Innsbruck main train station, take tram line 1 or 3 from the station stop (Hauptbahnhof). You will need to travel two stops and get off at 'Maria-Theresien-Straße'. Once you exit the tram, walk a short distance towards the direction of the tram's travel; Triumphpforte will be visible on your left.

    From the main train station, take bus line J towards 'Innsbruck, P+R Tivoli'. Get off at the stop 'Maria-Theresien-Straße', which is just a few minutes away.
