    From Innsbruck city center, head to the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can walk there or take a bus. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the local train to Thaur. The train leaves from platform 1 or 2. The journey will take about 10 minutes. After arriving at Thaur station, exit the station and walk northeast on Bahnhofstrasse. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection. Turn right onto Schloßgasse, and you will find Burgruine Thaur at number 19, about a 5-minute walk down the street.

    Walking

    If you are starting from the city center, you can walk to Burgruine Thaur. Begin at the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) and head east on Herzog-Friedrich-Straße. Continue straight, passing the Innsbruck Cathedral (Dom zu St. Jakob). After about 1.5 km, you will reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left onto Maria-Theresien-Straße and walk for another 500 meters. You will see signs for the direction to Thaur. Follow the signs towards Schloßgasse, which will lead you directly to Burgruine Thaur, approximately another 1 km away.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app. Simply request a ride to Schloßgasse 19 in Thaur. The driver will take you directly to Burgruine Thaur.
