Walking
If you are starting from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head straight onto Maria-Theresien-Straße. Walk along this street for about 1 kilometer, passing by various shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the golden roof (Goldenes Dachl) on your left, which is another famous landmark. Continue straight until you reach Annasäule at Maria-Theresien-Straße 18. The column is located in a small plaza, easily recognizable by its tall statue and surrounding benches.
Public Transport
From Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof, you can take tram line 1 or 3 heading towards 'Igls' or 'Patscherkofel'. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Maria-Theresien-Straße'. From the tram stop, walk down Maria-Theresien-Straße for about 5 minutes, and you will see Annasäule at Maria-Theresien-Straße 18, a prominent historical landmark in the city center.
Walking from Old Town (Altstadt)
If you are in the Old Town, make your way to the main street leading out of the Altstadt. Head towards the river Inn and cross the bridge. Upon reaching the other side, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the intersection with Maria-Theresien-Straße. Turn right onto Maria-Theresien-Straße and walk a short distance to find Annasäule at Maria-Theresien-Straße 18.
