Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head south on Südtiroler Platz toward Maria-Theresien-Straße. Continue straight for about 1 km, crossing the Inn River via the Innbrücke bridge. Once you reach Maria-Theresien-Straße, turn left and walk along this main shopping street until you see the golden roof (Goldenes Dachl) on your right. From there, continue walking straight, and you will reach the Finanzamt area where Josefbrunnen is located. The fountain is situated just across the street from the Finanzamt building.

From the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof, you can take bus line J towards 'Igls' or bus line O towards 'Kranebitten'. Get off at the stop named 'Finanzamt'. After you disembark, head towards the Finanzamt building, and you will find Josefbrunnen directly in front of it, just outside the building.

Tram
Take tram line 1 from the stop 'Hauptbahnhof' towards 'Tulfes'. Ride for 5 stops and get off at 'Anichstraße/Innsbruck'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk: head east on Anichstraße, and when you reach the intersection with Maria-Theresien-Straße, turn left. Continue until you reach the Finanzamt where Josefbrunnen is located.
