Getting There

    If you are driving from the Karwendel Mountains, take the B177 road towards Innsbruck. Follow the signs to the city center (Zentrum) and continue on the A12 towards Innsbruck. Once you reach Innsbruck, follow the signs to Hungerburg. From the center of Innsbruck, take the Hungerburgbahn cable car from the Hungerburg station, located at Hungerburgweg 4, 6020 Innsbruck. The cable car ride will take you directly to the Nordkette mountain area. Note that parking may be limited near the cable car station.

    To reach Innsbruck - Nordkette via public transportation, take a train or bus to Innsbruck from your location in the Karwendel Mountains. From the Innsbruck main train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof), you can take the tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Hungerburg'. The tram stops near the Hungerburgbahn station.
