Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start your journey by heading to the Innsbruck Main Train Station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof). From there, take tram line 1 towards 'Igls' and get off at the stop 'Höttinger Au'. This journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs towards 'Arzler Alm'. You will need to walk approximately 20 minutes uphill on the designated walking paths. The trailhead for the Arzler Alm Trail is well-marked, and you will see signs guiding you along the way.

    If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) and head towards Maria-Theresien-Straße. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Universitätsstraße. Turn right and follow Universitätsstraße until it becomes Höttinger Auffahrt. Continue walking uphill on this road for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the sign for 'Arzler Alm'. The trailhead will be to your left.
