Car
If you are traveling by car, drive towards the village of Hinterriß, which is the closest access point to Falkenhütte. From Innsbruck, take the A12 motorway towards Kufstein, then exit at the Zirl-Nord exit and follow the B177 road towards Pertisau. Continue along the B181 until you reach the turnoff to Hinterriß. Parking is available in Hinterriß, but check local signage for any parking fees, which usually range from €5 to €10 per day.
Public Transportation
To reach Hinterriß via public transportation, take a train to the nearest major station, which is Jenbach. From Jenbach, you can catch a bus (Line 4070) directly to Hinterriß. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately €5. Make sure to check the bus timetable in advance, as services may vary throughout the day.
Hiking
Once you arrive in Hinterriß, the Falkenhütte is situated approximately 2.5 kilometers away and can be reached by hiking. Follow the marked trail from the village, which is well-signposted and takes about 1 hour to walk. The path is moderately steep, so wear appropriate hiking shoes. There are no additional costs for the hike itself, but be sure to carry water and snacks for the journey.
