Getting There

    If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Pertisau, which is a popular base in the Karwendel Mountains. From Pertisau, take the B181 road towards Achenkirch. The drive will take about 20 minutes. Once you reach Achenkirch, follow the signs for the Ahornboden area. The road will lead you to the parking area near the Ahornboden. From the parking lot, it is a short hike to Wasserfall. Make sure to check if there's a parking fee, which is usually around €5 for the day.

    If you're using public transportation, take the bus from Innsbruck to Pertisau. You can catch the bus at Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station). The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Pertisau, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Ahornboden area, which is approximately a 30-minute drive away. Alternatively, you can check local schedules for buses that might take you directly to the Ahornboden area from Pertisau.
