Car

If you are travelling by car, start by navigating to the town of Hinterriß. From Innsbruck, take the A12 motorway towards Kufstein, then exit at Zirl and follow the signs to the B177 road, which leads you directly to Hinterriß. Once in Hinterriß, look for signs directing you to the Tölzer Hütte. There is limited parking available in the area, so be prepared to walk a short distance if the parking lot is full.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a train from Innsbruck to Jenbach. From Jenbach, you can catch a bus (line 4084) directly to Hinterriß. This bus ride offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Once in Hinterriß, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach Tölzer Hütte. Follow the hiking trails that are well marked and lead you through beautiful alpine scenery.
