There is a fee for parking (around €5 per day). Once parked, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes along well-marked trails to reach Mittlerer Achenfall, which is located along the main pathway.

If you're using public transportation, take a bus to Krimml from nearby towns such as Zell am See or Mittersill. Once you arrive in Krimml, head towards Wasserfallstraße. From the bus stop, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Krimml Waterfalls entrance. After reaching the entrance, follow the signs for the walking trail to the waterfalls. The total hike to Mittlerer Achenfall will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Remember to check the local bus schedules for return trips.
