Public Transport - Tram
From Linz main train station (Linz Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 towards 'Auwiesen'. Get off at the 'Römerstraße' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Franz-Josefs-Warte. Head northeast on Römerstraße, and you'll find the observation deck at Römerstraße 96.
Walking
If you are in the city center, you can walk to Franz-Josefs-Warte. Start at the Landstraße shopping street, head towards the Danube River and cross the bridge (Nibelungenbrücke). On the other side, follow the signs towards 'Pöstlingberg'. Continue on this path until you reach Römerstraße. The observation deck will be located at Römerstraße 96.
Public Transport - Bus
From the city center, you can also take bus line 12 from 'Landstraße' towards 'Pöstlingberg'. Get off at the 'Römerstraße' stop, and from there it’s a short 5-minute walk to Franz-Josefs-Warte located at Römerstraße 96.
