Public Transport - Tram
If you are starting from the Linz main train station (Linz Hauptbahnhof), head to the tram stop located just outside the station. Take tram line 1, which is heading towards 'Linz - Auwiesen'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Taubenmarkt'. From Taubenmarkt, you will walk about 5 minutes to the Alter Dom - Ignatiuskirche. Exit the tram and walk northwest towards the Domgasse street. Continue straight until you reach Domgasse 3, where the church is located.
Walking
If you are near the city center, you can easily walk to Alter Dom - Ignatiuskirche. From the main square (Hauptplatz), head towards the north on Landstraße street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Domgasse. Turn left onto Domgasse, and continue walking for about 3 minutes. The church will be located on your right at Domgasse 3.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are at the Linz university area (Johannes Kepler Universität), you can take bus line 27 from the university bus stop. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Landstraße'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Alter Dom - Ignatiuskirche. Walk down Landstraße heading south until you reach the Hauptplatz, then follow the walking directions to Domgasse.
