Walking
If you are in the heart of Urfahr, start by heading south towards the Danube River. Walk towards the riverside promenade, which is a beautiful route. Once you reach the promenade, turn right and walk along the riverbank. You will enjoy a scenic view of the river and the opposite bank of Linz. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the Nibelungen Bridge (Nibelungenbrücke). Cross the bridge, and after crossing, follow the signs directing you towards the city center (Innenstadt).

From Urfahr, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Urfahr' (located on Urfahr Boulevard). Board tram number 1 in the direction of 'Linzer Hauptplatz'. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Taubenmarkt'. From there, head east on Landstraße until you reach the intersection with Roseggerstraße. Turn left onto Roseggerstraße, and you will find Linz Botanical Garden at number 20, just a short 5-minute walk from the tram stop.
