    Public Transport

    To reach Gipfelkreuz Hochschneeberg via public transport, take a train from Vienna to Wiener Neustadt, then transfer to Puchberg am Schneeberg. From Puchberg station, it's a 10-minute walk to the Hochschneeberg Railway (Schneebergbahn). Purchase a round-trip ticket for the cogwheel railway, which costs approximately €46 for adults. The train journey to Hochschneeberg station takes about 40 minutes. From there, follow the marked hiking trails to Gipfelkreuz Hochschneeberg, about a 30-45 minute hike.

    Car

    If traveling by car from Vienna, drive on the A2 motorway towards Graz and take the exit for the B17 towards Puchberg am Schneeberg. Follow signs to the Hochschneebergbahn. Parking is available near the cable car station, with fees typically around €5-€10 for the day. From the parking area, proceed to the Schneebergbahn and follow the instructions above for the final ascent via train and hiking trail.
