From Mürztal, take the B115 road northeast towards the town of St. Pankraz. Continue on B115 for approximately 20 km. When you reach the village of Spital am Pyhrn, follow the signs for Pyhrnpass Passhöhe. The pass is located about 10 km further up the mountain road, and you will find parking facilities available at the top. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.

To reach Pyhrnpass Passhöhe via public transport, start by taking a train from Mürztal to the nearest major station, which is in the town of Klaus. From Klaus, you can take a regional bus (Route 912) heading towards Spital am Pyhrn. The bus will take you close to the base of the Pyhrnpass. From the bus stop, you'll need to walk approximately 3 km uphill to reach the Passhöhe. Check the local bus schedules for the most up-to-date times. A train ticket to Klaus typically costs around €8, and the bus fare is about €3.
