Getting There

  • Car

    From the Ötztal Alps region, head towards the A12 highway (Inntal Autobahn) in the direction of Innsbruck. Merge onto the A13 towards Italy at the junction near Innsbruck. Continue on the A13 until you reach the exit for the Brenner Pass (Brennerpass). Cross the border into Italy and follow the signs for SS12 towards Bolzano. At Bolzano, switch to the A22 Autostrada towards Trento. Continue until you reach the exit for SS43 towards Resia. Follow the SS43 through the scenic Val Venosta until you arrive at Resia, Province of Udine. Note: Tolls may apply on the highways in both Austria and Italy.

    To reach Val Resia via public transportation from the Ötztal Alps, take a train from Ötztal Bahnhof to Innsbruck. From Innsbruck, take a train towards Brennero.
