Once you arrive in Zell am See, follow the signs for the Plettsaukopf Reservoir. Look for the access road leading to the reservoir which is well-marked. Parking is available at the reservoir, but be prepared for a parking fee of around €5.

To reach Plettsaukopf Reservoir via public transport, take a train or bus to Zell am See. From the Zell am See train station, take bus number 660 heading towards Kaprun. Get off at the 'Plettsaukopf' stop. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Ensure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary. The bus fare is around €2-€3. After disembarking, follow the signs to the reservoir, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
