From Zell am See or Maishofen, take the Postbus line 680 to Hinterglemm. The bus stops at Hinterglemm Busterminal, a short walk from the Reiterkogelbahn valley station. The bus ride from Saalbach to Hinterglemm takes approximately 9 minutes and costs €1-2. As of May 1, 2025, guests in the province of Salzburg receive a Guest Mobility Ticket for free public transport. Bus services operate frequently. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information.

If you are in Hinterglemm, you can walk to the Reiterkogelbahn valley station. From the center of Hinterglemm, head towards Pfefferweg. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and offers scenic views of the surrounding area.

Drive to Hinterglemm. Paid parking is available in the parking garage near the Reiterkogelbahn valley station. Parking costs vary depending on the duration of your stay. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season.

Reiterkogelbahn
To reach the Bergstation, purchase a ticket at the Reiterkogelbahn valley station in Hinterglemm. In summer 2025, a Mountain Explore Card costs €25 for adults, €19 for adolescents (born 2007-2009), and €12.50 for children (born 2010-2019). Children under 6 (born in 2020 or later) travel free with their parents. The cable car ride to the top takes about 4 minutes.
