If you're already in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, start at the main square (Dorfplatz) in Saalbach. Follow the signs leading to the Wildlife Trail, a scenic 30-minute walk through beautiful landscapes. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear as the path can be uneven.

From the Saalbach-Hinterglemm bus station, take a local bus towards 'Hinterglemm' or 'Schattberg X-Press'. Get off at the 'Hinterglemm' stop (approximately a 10-minute ride). From there, follow the signs towards the Wildlife Trail, which is about a 15-minute walk. Bus schedules should be checked in advance. A single journey bus ticket costs approximately €2-3.

Drive towards the center of Saalbach-Hinterglemm. From the main square (Dorfplatz), take the road towards Pinzgauer Straße (B311). Follow the B311 for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction for the Wildlife Trail. Turn right onto the road leading towards the trailhead. Parking is available nearby, but check for parking fees. Parking fees range from €2-5 per hour.
