    Train

    From Salzburg, head to the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). You can walk there from the city center or take a local bus. At the train station, purchase a ticket to Berchtesgaden. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Berchtesgaden station, exit the station and follow the signs toward the town center.

    From Salzburg, you can take the bus number 840 from the Salzburg Bus Station (near the main train station). The journey to Berchtesgaden takes approximately 50 minutes.
