Getting There

  • Walking

    From the city center, start at Mozartplatz. Head southeast on Getreidegasse toward Judengasse. Continue straight to stay on Getreidegasse, which becomes Goldgasse. Keep walking until you reach the end of Goldgasse, then turn left onto Alter Markt. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kapitelplatz. From Kapitelplatz, take the path leading uphill towards Nonnberg. Follow the signs for Nonnberg and ascend the hill via Nonnberggasse. The entrance to Stift Nonnberg will be on your right.

  • Public Transport

    From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take bus line 5 toward 'Nonnberg' or 'Nonnbergstraße'. Get off at the 'Nonnberg' stop. Once you exit the bus, follow the path leading uphill to Nonnberggasse. Continue up Nonnberggasse, and you will find Stift Nonnberg on your right-hand side.

    If you are near Mirabell Palace, walk toward the pedestrian bridge (Makartsteg) over the Salzach River. Cross the bridge and turn left on the other side. Walk along the riverbank until you reach the path that leads up to Nonnberg. Follow this path uphill until you reach Nonnberggasse, where Stift Nonnberg is located.
