Public Transport - Bus
From the city center, walk to the bus stop 'Makartplatz'. Take bus number 5 towards 'Hallein' or bus number 7 towards 'Aigen', and get off at the stop 'Nonnberg'. Once you exit the bus, walk a short distance along Nonnberggasse, and you will find Stift Nonnberg located at Nonnberggasse 2.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the historic center of Salzburg (Altstadt). Head towards the Getreidegasse, then continue to the Festung Hohensalzburg (the fortress). From there, you can follow the path leading up the hill towards Nonnberg. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the city along the way. Once you reach the top, follow the signs to Nonnberggasse where the monastery is located.
Public Transport - Tram
From the Mirabell Palace, walk to the nearest tram station, 'Mirabellplatz'. Take tram line 1 towards 'Aigen' and get off at 'Salzburg Aigen'. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Nonnberggasse. Head northeast on Nonnberggasse, and you will arrive at Stift Nonnberg.
