Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Bad Ischl. Head southeast on B145 towards Gmunden. After approximately 15 kilometers, turn onto L1291 (Gosauseestraße) towards Gosau. Follow L1291 for about 10 kilometers and you will arrive at Fotostopp, located near the scenic viewpoint of the Gosau Lake. There are parking spots available near the viewpoint, but be aware that during peak tourist season, they may fill up quickly.
Public Transportation
To reach Fotostopp via public transportation, start at the Bad Ischl train station. Take the train towards Gmunden and get off at the Gmunden station. From there, switch to the bus line 150, which goes towards Gosau. You should get off at the stop 'Gosau - Fotostopp'. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
Walking
If you happen to be near Gosau village, you can take a leisurely walk to Fotostopp. From the center of Gosau, follow the signs leading towards Gosausee.
