    From Salzburg, take the Line 911 bus from Salzburg Makartplatz C to Perwang/Grabensee Abzw Palting. The bus operates four times a week, on Fridays and Saturdays, and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the lake. A single ticket costs between €6 and €10. A day ticket for the regional areas is valid for unlimited usage of public transit on a given day, within the purchased, corresponding zone(s). This ticket is valid from the time of validation until 3:00 a.m. the following day. Please check online fare information for more details.

  • Walking

    From the center of Perwang am Grabensee, follow the signs towards the Strandbad Perwang (lido), which provides access to the lake. The walk is generally short and easy, taking you through the charming village. Once at the Strandbad, you can access the lake for swimming and relaxation.

    From Salzburg, drive towards Perwang am Grabensee. Parking is available at the Perwang lido (Strandbad) and the municipal office. Parking at the lido is free. From there, it's a short walk to the lake. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season.

The circular trail around the lake is approximately 8 kilometers long and takes about 2.5 hours to complete, offering stunning lake views and opportunities for birdwatching. The trail passes by the Gnadenbründl spring, believed to have healing properties, and the Keltenschanze, an ancient Celtic site.
