Getting there

Public Transport

From Mondsee, take bus line 140 towards St. Gilgen and get off at the St. Lorenz Ortsmitte stop. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to Lake View; follow the signs towards Mondsee Straße and then towards the lake. A single bus fare costs around €3-€5. Alternatively, the Postbus-Shuttle in the Mondseeland region offers on-demand transport; bookable via app or phone (+43 664 9271464, Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - Noon).

Driving

If driving from Sankt Gilgen, head southeast on Wolfgangsee Straße/B158 towards St. Lorenz. Continue on B158 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach Mondsee Str. Turn left onto Mondsee Str. and follow the road for 2 kilometers. Parking is available near the lake, with hourly rates ranging from €0.50 to €1.50, typically enforced from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday, 8 AM to 12 PM.

Walking

From the center of St. Lorenz (e.g., the St. Lorenz Kirche B154 bus stop), it is approximately a 1.5 km walk to Lake View along Mondsee Str. Follow the road signs, and you will reach the destination. Allow for approximately 20 minutes to walk.
