Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Bad Ischl. From the center of Bad Ischl, head northeast on B145 (Salzburger Str.) and then turn left onto Kaltenbachstraße. Follow Kaltenbachstraße for about 1.5 km, and you will find the Katrin Seilbahn located at Kaltenbachstraße 62. Parking is available near the cable car station, and be aware that there may be a parking fee.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from various locations in Salzkammergut to Bad Ischl. The local bus service (e.g., Bus Line 150) connects major towns. Once you arrive at the Bad Ischl bus station, walk towards the city center and follow Kaltenbachstraße, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.
