Hallstatt day trip from Salzburg
Fairy tale in Hallstatt
A wonderful experience. A very picturesque and fairytale place on a lake in the mountains. There is no entrance fee. Paid parking is provided. The crowds are big, but we were there in the early hours of the morning when there is less flow of people.

Thank you so much to Shiva (Sivakumar). He had a wealth of knowledge and was kind enough to share throughout at all the relevant points. Went into the trip knowing very little about local history, and could easily go home and regale my kids with tales of Salzburg, Halstatt and Austria as a whole.
