Car
From Sölden, take the Ötztalstraße (B186) heading south. Continue on B186 for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the turn-off for the Granatenkogel hiking area. Once you reach the parking area designated for hikers (Granatenkogel Parkplatz), you can park your car here. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €5 for a full day.
Public Transportation
Start at the Sölden bus station, which is located in the center of town. Take the bus heading towards Obergurgl. Make sure to check the local bus schedule as the frequency may vary. Get off at the 'Granatenkogel' stop. From there, follow the marked hiking trail that leads to the Granatenkogel summit. The bus fare is generally around €3.50 for a one-way ticket.
Hiking
If you are already in Sölden and prefer to hike, you can start from the center of town. Head towards the Giggijoch cable car station and take the cable car up to Giggijoch. From the top, follow the hiking trails that lead to Granatenkogel. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Note that a ticket for the cable car costs about €20 for a round trip.
