Getting There

• Public Transport

  From central Vienna, take the U1 metro line to the VIC/Kaisermühlen station or the Alte Donau station, or the U6 line to the Neue Donau station. From VIC/Kaisermühlen or Alte Donau, take bus line 20A to the Donauturm station. Alternatively, from Alte Donau or Neue Donau, a free electric bus (Danube Tower Shuttle) is available. A single metro or bus ticket costs €2.40. A 24-hour ticket is available for €5.80.

• Walking

  From the VIC/Kaisermühlen subway station (U1), walk approximately 20 minutes through a section of UNO-City and the Donaupark to reach the Danube Tower. Follow the signs directing you to the tower. This scenic walk allows you to explore the modern architecture of Danube City and the natural beauty of Donaupark. No additional costs are involved.

• Taxi/Ride-sharing

  From central Vienna (e.g., Stephansplatz), a taxi or ride-sharing service to the Danube Tower will cost approximately €30 or more, depending on traffic and the specific service. The journey typically takes 20-30 minutes. There are no tolls on this route.

• Driving

  From the city center, follow signs to the A23 Süd-Ost-Tangente, then take the Handelskai exit. Continue to Brigittenauer Brücke, then turn onto Donauturmstraße. Limited paid parking is available directly at the Donauturm. Parking costs €4.50 for the first hour and €3.50 for each additional hour. Public parking is also available on Arbeiterstrandbadstraße within walking distance.
