    If you are near the Vienna State Opera, take Tram Line 1 (Rot) or Tram Line 2 (Blau) from the 'Oper' stop. Ride for about 3 stops and get off at 'Stubentor' stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes northeast along Stubenring street. The Museum of Applied Arts will be on your left at Stubenring 5.

    From the Stephansplatz station (which is near St. Stephen's Cathedral), take U-Bahn Line U3 (the orange line) towards 'Simmering'. Transfer at 'Karlsplatz' station to U-Bahn Line U1 (the red line) towards 'Reumannplatz'. Get off at 'Karlsplatz', and then take Tram Line 1 (Rot) or Tram Line 2 (Blau) to 'Stubentor'. Walk about 5 minutes northeast along Stubenring street to reach the museum.

Turn left onto Stubenring street and walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Stubenring 5, where the museum is located.
