Public Transport
To reach the Danube Tower via public transport, take the U1 line to the Alte Donau or VIC/Kaisermühlen station, or the U6 line to Neue Donau station. From any of these stations, you can take bus line 20A to the Donauturm station, which stops directly at the tower. Alternatively, from the Alte Donau station, you can walk for about 20 minutes northwest along Arbeiterstrandbadstraße, then through Donaupark to reach the tower. A single Vienna public transport ticket costs around €2.40.
Car
If arriving by car, limited paid parking is available directly at the Donauturm. Alternatively, use public parking spaces on Arbeiterstrandbadstraße, a short walk away. From the Südautobahn (A2), take the A23 south-east tangent to Handelskai, then the Brigittenauer bridge to Donauturmstraße. Parking at the Donauturm costs €4.50 for the first hour and €3.50 for each additional hour. Daily maximum rates apply. For consumption in the Turm Restaurant, Turm Café or Donaubräu, free parking hours are offered.
