Walking
From the Spitz town center, including the train station and the Donaulände (Danube promenade), the Tausendeimerberg is easily accessible on foot. Head west along the Hauptstraße (main street) towards the church. Continue past the church and follow the signs for Tausendeimerberg. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Note that the final ascent involves some moderately steep paths through the vineyard.

If arriving by bus (Wachau-Linien bus 715, running between Krems and Melk), disembark at the 'Spitz Friedhof' (Spitz Cemetery) stop. From there, follow the signs for Tausendeimerberg, which involves a short, uphill walk of approximately 5 minutes. The Wachau day ticket (€12, children €6) covers bus travel in the Wachau region. NÖ-Card holders can obtain one free Wachau day ticket during the season (April-October) at the tourist information centers in Krems, Spitz, Emmersdorf and Melk during opening hours.
