Landhaushof: A Renaissance Gem in Klagenfurt

Giovanni Antonio Verda from Gandria, Lugano, continued the work, completing it in 1587. The Landhaus's exterior showcases a double loggia wing, adorned with giant pilasters and stucco-decorated window frames. The inner courtyard is a serene space, leading to the Wappensaal, or Hall of Arms, the building's most celebrated interior space. The Wappensaal features 665 coats of arms representing Carinthian noble families. The ceiling features a baroque fresco by Josef Ferdinand Fromiller, completed between 1740 and 1760, depicting the hereditary homage of Emperor Charles VI in 1728.
