At 1,760 meters elevation, directly beside the Asitz and Steinbergbahn mountain stations, Asitzbräu stands as Europe's highest brewhouse, transformed from the original 1930 Asitzhütte ski touring hut. Purchased by the Altenberger family in 2010, it was rebuilt into a three-level alpine beer palace featuring original brewing equipment on display, creating a unique museum-like bar atmosphere immersed in the Leogang Steinberge peaks.
