Take Bus 70 from Zell am See Bahnhof (main train station) to Thumersbach Kirche (church). From the bus stop, walk along Talstrasse for about 500 meters, following signs for 'Ronachkopf' or 'Skitourenparkplatz'. The free parking area and the start of the ascent will be on your left. A single bus fare costs approximately €2-3.

From Zell am See, head towards Thumersbach. Follow the main road (Talstrasse) for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Ronachkopf' or 'Skitourenparkplatz'. A free parking area is available near the bridge in the Thumersbach valley. From the parking area, the ascent to Ronachkopf begins.

From the center of Zell am See, walk along the lake promenade towards Thumersbach. Continue past the Seecamp campsite. Upon entering Thumersbach, follow Talstrasse for approximately 500 meters, keeping an eye out for signs pointing to 'Ronachkopf' or 'Skitourenparkplatz'. The free parking area and the start of the ascent will be on your left. The walk from Zell am See center to the Ronachkopf trailhead is approximately 4-5 kilometers.
