Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Pertisau, which is a popular starting point for accessing the Rofangebirge. From Pertisau, follow signs for the Achensee lake. Once you reach the lake, look for the road leading to the Dalfazalm area where the Rofangebirge is located. There is a parking area available near the trailhead. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5-€10 per day.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Jenbach station. From Jenbach, transfer to the Achensee boat service or a regional bus heading to Pertisau. The bus stop closest to the hiking area is 'Pertisau Dalfazalm'. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the trailhead leading into the Rofangebirge. The bus fare from Jenbach to Pertisau is usually around €5-€10.

• Hiking

  Once you arrive at the Dalfazalm area, you'll find well-marked hiking trails. The path to the Rofangebirge typically starts from the Dalfazalm hut, which is a great place to grab a bite before your hike. Follow the signs for the hiking trails leading into the Rofangebirge, and be prepared for a moderate hike that may take several hours depending on your chosen route.
