The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) is a cultural beacon located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The building comprises five pebble-shaped structures that symbolize unity and interdependency. These 'pebbles' include a library, auditorium, cinema, Great Hall, museum, and the Ithra Tower. The tower stretches 110 meters into the sky and houses the Idea Lab and Energy Exhibit. The building's facade features stainless steel tubes that create organic shapes, reflecting the surrounding desert landscape. Ithra offers a wide array of cultural and learning experiences. The museum spans four levels with galleries dedicated to contemporary art, Saudi heritage, Islamic civilization, and natural history. The library houses over 200,000 books and resources for all ages. The 900-seat auditorium hosts international and regional performances, while the cinema screens a diverse selection of films. Additionally, Ithra provides workshops, exhibitions, and interactive displays to engage visitors of all ages.
